This was our cozy campsite for the night at Azalea Campground.

We stopped by the visitor center to get acquainted with what the park had to offer. The ranger suggested the General Grant loop trail in Grant Grove. Along the trail we got to stand in a hollowed out fallen sequoia and walk among so many big trees!

Then we got to General Grant, also known as the Nation’s Christmas Tree. It is 267 feet tall and 29 feet wide and earned its nickname in 1924 when a little girl exclaimed what a wonderful Christmas tree it would make!

Next we were going to drive Panoramic Point road to do the trail and also go see Hume Lake. On the way there we saw this cool tree!

Panoramic Point was very beautiful so we decided it was a great place to take our flag picture.

Next we headed to Hume Lake and we got some more great pictures on the way and while there.
The water was very clear and there were shiny gold flakes in the lake. We’re not completely sure about it, but we think maybe it was mica flakes.

Sometimes I can convince Evan to be corny with me lol
After playing around at the lake we decided to drive the General’s Highway to Sequoia National Park. There were a couple more great overlooks.
We arrived to Sequoia NP around 1:30pm and the first thing we wanted to do was go see the General Sherman tree.

On the way we caught some pretty scenery and we saw a marmot and a chipmunk!
General Sherman is 275 feet tall and 36.5 feet wide at the base and the largest tree, by volume, in the world!

After gawking at its massive base we walked the Congress Trail 2 mile loop. We saw a tree with a wicked fire scar and as crazy as it seems it is still alive! We also saw the house and the senate and I hugged the President! What a giant tree!!!

Look how tiny I am compared to that giant!

Next we went to see hanging rock and the views there. We spotted a really cool lizard with blue and green spots on his back and Evan had fun playing around lol.

Moro Rock was our next stop which is comprised of over 350 steps up a picturesque quarter mile climb. Once at the top you get amazing views of Kaweah Valley and the Great Western Divide of the High Sierra.
Crescent Meadow was the last part of the park we were going to check out and on the way there we got to drive through a Sequoia tree tunnel!
Picture
Crescent Meadow rewarded us with sooooo many amazing views which isn’t a surprise considering Conservationist John Muir visited this meadow many times and praised it highly calling it the "Gem of the Sierras". We even saw some deer frolicking and listened to bullfrogs singing.

This is one of my favorite pictures ever!

Along the trail we visited Tharp’s Log which is a fallen hollowed giant sequoia log that Hale Tharp turned into a cabin. It is complete with a bed, table and benches, and even a fireplace.
As we were leaving Sequoia NP to head to our next destination we finally got to see a bear way up high on the mountain in front of us. I know it just looks like a black spec, but I was super excited. When I looked through the binoculars I could even see its facial features!
Picture
We also captured another amazing sunset and moonrise.
Tonight we found a BLM campground called Laguna Mountain campground, but since we arrived so late we will be sleeping in the car again. Tomorrow we will explore Pinnacles National Park!

I really love going to the park, in my opinion, it is the best way to spend my time. I know that not everyone is happy with it, but believe me, it is better than not doing anything at all. If you are just wasting your time doing nothing with your life, then you are never going to be able to make something happen. I really do wish that we can just go and enjoy life. You should go to parks more often.

All in all, to that I ask...Have you at any point attempted to get more fit Have you prevailed with regards to keeping the load off Assuming you have, I'm willing to wager that you had a recommended plan, a measure of calories to eat every day, an activity routine, a care group, maybe even a food diary to keep you on target.
