After our awesome day in RMNP we just needed to see some more rocks! Kayla, and a few of the sites we read, suggested Vedauwoo as one of the coolest places to see in Wyoming. Sadly we were a little early in the season to see the area in all its glory. Vedauwoo has a couple entrances and the first two we went to were completely closed. The third entrance we tried was open, but only up to the first parking lot. We parked outside the next gate blocking our way and headed to the first formation we saw on foot. We will have to come back in the summer at some point to see everything and possibly do some climbing!
Also, Evan made it official today! We are headed to Austin where he will attend the McCombs School of Business to get his MBA!! Hook 'em!
After taking a few very windy pictures we hopped in the car to warm up and head back to the house... At least that was our plan until we saw this.
After our little adventure in the snow we were finally on our way home. On our way out we saw this awesome lonely tree growing out of a rock! Apparently this is common in WY.
Leason of the Day: That first person you saw lightly stuck in the snow... Help him or her because the second will be way worse. #karma
