About Us
In September 2015, we went on an amazing vacation to Oahu, had many adventures, and got engaged! Evan already had plans in place to go back to grad school Fall 2016 so early in November, while trying to figure out our next steps, we made the big decision to not renew our apartment lease in Houston. Instead of continuing to pay for a lease and all the other expenses associated with city living, we planned to put all of our things in storage and begin a four month road trip across the US in March 2016. From March to July we are going to visit each state in the contiguous 48 and as many of the 47 national parks as possible in those states. At the end of our journey we are heading back to Hawaii to be married!
*Update as of April 11, 2016: We decided to go ahead and get that 50th state in during our roadtrip so we flew to Alaska for about 33 hours to do something fun there! Check the blog to see how awesome it was!*

Our History |
We met late March 2013 while I was on my way to go skydiving. Evan overheard me mentioning it to a friend and asked if he could join. I said yes so he tagged along to go skydiving and ended up hanging out for the entire day with me and my friends. We didn't get to jump that day because the clouds wouldn't clear, but we ended up going to a Rockets game and Pete's Piano Bar that night and sure enough Evan stayed for all the fun! A week later we hung out together for the first time and we were inseparable since!
